We are a Qualsafe approved training centre

Based in Peterborough we can provide both regulated and unregulated first aid courses for one day Emergency First Aid at Work to combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid which is ideal for school teachers and people who work in areas where both adults and children frequent like shopping arcades and supermarkets..

We also provide Pre Hospital Care courses in the form of First Response Emergency care levels 3 and 4, level 4 ILS.

First Aid Courses

All of our First Aid Courses are regulated through Qualsafe, we can Taylor make any course to fit the needs of your work environment. We currently run 16 First Aid Course below are the more common courses we run.

QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)

The QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, to provide first aid in a range of emergency first aid situations. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide basic first aid in voluntary and community activities..

QA Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF)

The QA Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) qualification has been designed in-line with the current Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements and is ideal for:

  • Those who have gained a level 2 or 3 childcare qualification and have entered into an early years setting and wish to be included in the staff to child ratios to comply with the EYFS requirements.
  • Anyone who cares for infants and children, such as parents, guardians, grandparents or those who have an involvement with infants and children, and wants to learn key paediatric first aid skills.

QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)

The QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification, specifically designed for those who are appointed to act as a first aider in their workplace. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide first aid in voluntary and community activities. This qualification is not suited to the event industry As even first aiders.

QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF)

The QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) has been specifically designed to meet the criteria set by the Department for Education’s EYFS Framework and is ideal for:

  • Those who have gained a level 2 and/or level 3 childcare qualification and have entered into an early years setting and wish to be included in the staff to child ratios to comply with EYFS requirements.
  • Registered childminders and assistants who are required to hold a current and full paediatric first aid certificate in order to comply with the EYFS requirements.
  • Anyone who has a non-professional involvement with infants and children, such as parents and grandparents who want to learn key paediatric first aid skills.

Combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid

Combining the QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) and the QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) into 3 extended days of classroom learning, this specially designed course provides the skills and knowledge needed to provide both adult and paediatric first aid, whilst minimising the number of training days required to achieve both qualifications. 

Streamlined perfectly to avoid the duplication of topics associated with attending both the First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid courses separately, the Combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid course has been specifically designed for those who work in settings that require both First Aiders and Paediatric First Aiders, such as schools, sports clubs or other childcare settings.  

Combined Emergency First Aid at Work and Emergency Paediatric First Aid

Combining the QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) and the QA Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) into 1 extended day of classroom learning, this specially designed course provides the skills and knowledge needed to provide both emergency adult and paediatric first aid. This minimises the number of training days required to achieve both qualifications.

Qualsafe First Response Emergency Care (Level 3 RQF)

The Qualsafe Awards First Response Emergency Care (Level 3 RQF) covers the full range of skills required by the HSE for first aid, and is the leading qualification for events cover. For those with further ambitions, it also forms the first step for those seeking a career in a range of prehospital care roles.

The Qualsafe First Response Emergency Care (Level 3 RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification, ideal for those looking to work or volunteer as a first responder.

Among the first to arrive at a scene, first responders typically include police officers, firefighters, and those providing medical cover at festivals and events such as Emergency/Community First Responders, Door Supervisors, Close Protection Operatives and Security Guards as well as those working in high risk environments including the military, power stations, agriculture and manufacturing.

QA Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) 

The QA Level 4 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised Prehospital care qualification specifically designed for those looking to progress their career within the NHS or private ambulance services as an emergency care assistant, intermediate ambulance practitioner, event medical provider, associate practitioner or healthcare assistant. It is also ideal for those who are looking to work within specialist roles in the military, police and fire services.
 

Fulfilling the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at descriptor level E, this qualification provides learners with the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to be able to deal with a wide range of Prehospital care emergencies, such as: major incidents, fracture immobilisation, sick and injured children, mental health issues and more. QA Level 3 Award in Administering Emergency Medical Gases (RQF)

Fulfilling the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at descriptor level E, this qualification provides learners with the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to be able to deal with a wide range of Prehospital care emergencies, such as: major incidents, fracture immobilisation, sick and injured children, mental health issues and more. 

QA Level 4 Award in Immediate Life Support (RQF)

The QA Level 4 Award in Immediate Life Support (RQF) is ideal for those who have a responsibility at work, or in community or voluntary activities to provide emergency care to patients, such as: event medical providers, emergency ambulance personnel, registered healthcare professionals and those working in specialist roles within the emergency services and military.

 



 

Qualsafe First Response Emergency Care (Level 3 RQF) Requalification

This qualification is only valid for 3 years so this 3 day requalification course has been designed for those who do not wish to progress to First Response Emergency Response Level 4 or for those not yet ready to take the next step.
